Since yesterday when try to login to my DNN site, I get the following error (Other users can login without any problem, just HOST is having problem)

An error has occurred. DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.PageLoadException: The Controls collection cannot be modified because the control contains code blocks (i.e. <% ... %>). ---> System.Web.HttpException: The Controls collection cannot be modified because the control contains code blocks (i.e. <% ... %>). at System.Web.UI.ControlCollection.AddAt(Int32 index, Control child) at DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.Pane.ProcessPane() at DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.Skin.ProcessPanes() at DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.Skin.OnInit(EventArgs e) at System.Web.UI.Control.InitRecursive(Control namingContainer) at System.Web.UI.Control.AddedControl(Control control, Int32 index) at System.Web.UI.ControlCollection.Add(Control child) at DotNetNuke.Framework.DefaultPage.OnInit(EventArgs e) in e:\WWW\montpub627\Default.aspx.cs:line 717 at System.Web.UI.Control.InitRecursive(Control namingContainer) at System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestMain(Boolean includeStagesBeforeAsyncPoint, Boolean includeStagesAfterAsyncPoint) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

that error typically occurs when an exception happens during generation of the skin or menu - they write an exception into the page which then causes that error message (which is a bit of a red herring) - you can find a number of similar ones at https://www.google.hu/search?q=dnn+Th... -you'll notice they're all skin related (e.g. missing ContentPane , skin used as a container etc.) I'd suggest checking admin->event viewer to see if any error is logged (or the EventLog table in the database if you cant get to that) and also considering setting log4net to All in case it captures something (http://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/page/... )

Thank you for your quick response.

You are correct.  One of my programmers had inserted some code inside a custom skin.

after commenting out the <% ... %> code, the page loads now.
