Hi,

I'm running DNN 5.06 Professional

How can i install advanced search (SearchCrawler admin) and configure it on my site (documentation as well)?

also I jave some quesitons on the default search module of DNN
   my issues/questions:
    - does it index PDF files?
    - can i add or remove links manually to the index?
    - can I display the results of a members only section but make them log in when they ask for the page?
    - bug: left menu doesn't display when I click on a link form the search results.
thanks

Advanced search is part of DNN 7, i.e. you'll need to upgrade your DNN install.
indexing files is included in Evoq products (paid) only, there might be less expensive alternatives in the Store
manual editing is not a planned feature, you would need a custom module for it.
users will get displayed the content they are having access to - otherwise you need to modify the results module
search results module has been redone for DNN 7
