On some of my sites I get this error when logged in as host and trying to access Site Settings:

"A critical error has occurred. Selection out of range Parameter name: value"

I can access site settings on some of the other sites within the same DNN install..

I get the same error, but it doesn't matter if I log in as host or as another user. Site Settings won't load regardless of which account I use.

This is totally a guess... but from the error, it looks like the Skin box is being told to select a value that's not in the box... In other words - it's trying to select a skin that doesn't exist.

If that's right, you could go into the PortalSettings table and look for the "DefaultPortalSkin" and "DefaultAdminSkin" settings and make sure they're valid.

Can anyone provide me with more detail on this exception please - I've tested a number of times and cannot reproduce it so don't know what the fix is. Some anecdotal reports stated it was a lowercasing issue, but I tried that and it had no problems (plus the lowercased folder/skin/container code is very old). Is it perhaps an issue with folders not existing (or not being moved over during an upgrade). Any details would help - please post them to this thread or https://dnntracker.atlassian.net/brow...
