Hey All;

I am working with a company creates custom modules within DNN . We recently upgraded our DNN to 7.3.4 and installed/moved one of our custom module to DNN. Now, we can not add another module to DNN. The link or any other link under Module section does not click.

Also, something seems to be wrong with the extensions. When you want to click on edit, its the same problem, it seems like the link is broken or can not get into it.

We tried :

1 - Jquery disable/enable. In 7.3.4 , you cant even do it seems like.

2 - Added a code to web.config regarding to jquery, it crashed the website.

3 - Nothing under host > Event Viewer.

We are running :

Windows 2012 r2 Datacenter edition

SQL 2012

VS 2012

IIS 8.5 I believe

The same instance DOES RUN on Windows 7 box without any issues with the same DNN , SQL 2012 and VS2012

Thanks for any input.

Christian

please check event viewer to see if any erros are logged (http://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/page/...), also look at the log4net files (http://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/page/...). In addition I would suggest you use the browser tools (F12 on most browsers) to see if there is a javascript exception - this is the most likely i.e. your module has some bad markup that is breaking javascript functions (including postbacks). As to why it works on one server and not another, check the .net versions of the application pools

Thanks for replying. I really appreciate it.

I do have an another instance of DNN (with the same credentials) and does NOT debug within VS2012. Do you know a reason why it does not DEBUG by any chance ? The other instances does debug.

Thanks a lot!.
