Omuftah,

I am seeing the same thing too.  DOH!   I will get it corrected and let you know.  Thanks for catching it.

Alright here is the scoop.

I have tested this on 4 different installs of Dotnetnuke.

The current version of HTML/Text Alerts is 01.00.02, please make sure you have it.

This module will only work on DNN installs that are 3.3.5 or newer(when they come out).  I have tested on two seperate DNN 3.3.5 installs and it works flawlessly.  Under DNN 3.3.4 you can test in the settings but you can't send a message upon update of the text.

I hope that helps,

Stuart

Stuart,

You are correct, the module (ver. 01.00.02) works flawlessly on a clean install of DNN 3.3.5.

In my situation, I have been consistantly upgrading from previous versions of 3.x as they came out.  Since I have not gone production yet, it was a good time to take the plunge and start with a fresh install.  I can't wait for the alert functionality to be the norm as part of all module development.

Thank you for all the help and for developing this module.

O.

BTW any updates on an Alert component for DNN modules?
It's probably one of the handiest features I have heard for awhile.

Simonduz,

I am currently thinking about the best approach to take with the module.  But it is definately something that I am working on.  I have been researching/discussing off and on about the possibilities... I want something awesome, but I am trying to figure out if it is possible or not.

Glad to hear that their is interest in it, that will help motiviate me.
