Hi, I've got some users in a User Role, which has access to edit all pages in a portal.

However, when they try to create a new page, they are unable to set the Parent page. The dropdown doesnt show all the pages of the site, as it should. How do I fix this?

Thanks

Tom

Tom,
which DNN Version are you using?
Is the parent page enabled in menu?

Thanks for the reply Sebastian,

I am using DNN 7.2.1.

Which menu do you mean where Parent Page needs to be enabled? It works when I am logged in as Admin. The users have permission to view/edit all pages in the Portal.

oops, I forgot: non-admin users are allowed only to create subpages of the page, they are currently viewing.

OK. Thanks for letting me know. So if they create a new page they just need to first go to the page they want to be the parent, and then Add or Copy page. A little strange, but we can work with that. Thank you.

Another question for you, about non-admin users. How can I enable them to  be able to overwrite files. Currently I have a role of non-admin  users, and they have rights to Write to a folder. I need them to be able to overwrite files, but if they try to upload a file of the same name (to update it) they get a window saying "That file already exists in this location!" and they cannot upload it.  I need to make them able to do so. How do I achieve this? (They have permission and can upload new files, just cant overwrite existing files)
