Hi,

After a clean dnn 7.4.01 install on a windows 2012 server with iis 8.0 i'm unable to move container to another pane. When i check table TabModules the record has not been updated. All other change that are made and related to module are updatde except field PaneName

Hope someone could help

Kind regards,
Bass

I've seen this happen before. Don't know how to fix the underlying cause...but you can try this to at least get the module where you want it.

Go to the module's settings
Use Advanced Settings>Page Settings and move the module to a different page
Go back to the original page
Use Add Existing Module to add the module back to the original page in the desired pane
You can then Delete the copy that you put on a different page

Mike, if this solves the issue, it would mean that the issue is in TabModules or TabModuleSettings table.
It would be helpful to analyse the bad setting, in order to get this issue fixed.

Thanks for your reply but this is not a workaround if you have to reorganize multiple modules. Besides i think there is a big chance that there are more things that do not work properly or the way they should be.

I hope find a proper solution.

if you create a copy, you may compare properties of both in TabModules table and compare settings in TabModules table, this would help to identify the issue (and I can try to provide you with a script to fix it).
