I fear, Sunil is talking about developer options, not configurations.

You will need to create a second page to do this (Sebastien was mentioning this).

Create the secure page where it's only visible to Registered Users.

Create a SECOND page in your site (similar name and level) visible to All Users that redirects to the secure page.

The other option is to change the view permissions of the MODULES on that page so they are visible to Registered Users only. Add an HTML module to that page that is visible to Unauthenticated Users only that informs the user(s) that they need to register in log in to access that content.

Mike,

Thanks.  I appreciate the detailed notes and the very good alternative.  I think we will go with your plan B.  We will also implement plan C - just put a link on the home page (as the menu is not used much anyhow).

Best,
Scott

Just to throw this out there... You can do this by using a custom menu for your skin. Obviously, the relatively value of this approach would depend on how many such pages you have and how "fixed" their position is in the site.

But, using a razor script and DDR menu, you could just have the script insert that page into the menu regardless of a user's permissions. If you do that, it might actually be easier to have the DNN marker for "Include in Menu" turned off - so that it doesn't pop up in the list of pages in your script. Then, you can just have the script add it in every time.

Option B worked for us. . Put in a link back to the login page, created a user with 'subscriber' privileges, good to go
