This is SOOO frustrating.  I am not sure where the problem lies but the website is hosted at Network Solutions and this is a brand new install of 7.2.2.  Of course they have no clue what they are doing but after a week of trying to get a good install of the platform on their server the site was finally up and running with the Adventure Cycle template.  I can't get more than one or 2 pages added (just the page, not the content) and the app pool crashes and I have to go in through their hosting panel and recycle the pool.  They don't have logging turned on so I can't possibly tell you what the issue is.   My customer is about ready to give up on a platform that I used to be an evangelist for but now, only specialized hosting providers host DNN platforms and the popular ones can't support it but offer it as an install.  If anyone has any ideas why this would be happening or where I can look to find the culprit, let me know.

Does the app pool have sufficient resources assigned (RAM)?
And, there should only be a single worker process assigned.

Since the site is hosted at Network Solutions (web.com) I don't think that I will be able to get that information.   The site seems to be fine as long as I am not editing.   I did notice this morning when looking at the event viewer the following error appears every 5 minutes or so.  Not sure what it is telling me or if it is related but it is the only error in the log to this point.

Is there any reason why you are not running the latest version?

It may not fix your problem but if I were in your shoes I would back up the files and DB. Then run the upgrade package and see if the problem gets fixed.

Unless you have some reason to be running 7.2.2 it could be worth a try.

That is the version that Network Solutions has in their self installer open source app menu.  I can try that although this has been going on so long and I finally have the website rebuilt from the outages that they have experience over the last week or so I really can't afford to take the chance on additional installation failures.   I will see how the next few days go.
