Hi Roger,

It sounds as though you have an older version of DotNetNuke.dll than you should. Sebastian's explanation seems a good candidate. When that happens you end up with a mix of old and new files.

Clearly the best course would be to restore from before the upgrade and begin again. Assuming that is not possible. I would try:
- take a backup in case things go horribly wrong
- check that you have an unblocked copy of the 7.3 upgrade zip file
- repeat the upgrade process

Unpacking the zip file should get you a self consistent set of DNN files. Browsing to the site should get you any missing database upgrades. It's a reasonable bet that the site will come up after that.

if you can't revert to a previous backup, you should at least download upgrade package again, unblock and unzip all files
