Hi Team,

Recently we upgrade version from 6 to 7.4, unfortunately we facing many issues (mostly in alignment).

Almost some issue fixed, but one of the issue is, if click edit button page showing loading bar continuously, no response.

But interesting think is we have two system setting with DNN upgrade version 7.4.

One system showing loading bar continuously , no response.

But in another system, after click edit button page showing message box like "The following item's are not created yet : User/admin account", if click "ok" means, page redirecting to expected page, please find below screen shot for reference.

i'm not sure where it went wrong, why this difference happening.

If have any idea about this please share with me, it's more helpful for us.

Thanks

Renga

I'm not sure about all of those issues, but for the one where you constantly see the load bar spinning that signals to me a JavaScript conflict. You may want to use the F12 tools to see if you have some JavaScript of JQuery that isn't loading properly.

Also, sometimes this happened when you put multiple DAM or Document Viewers on the page. I'm not sure that this is the issue, just letting you know what I've run into in the past.

Vien,
you should follow the official upgrade path via DNN 5.6.8, 6.1.2, 6.2.9, 7.1.2 and 7.3.4
You need to run your IIS App Pool on .Net 4, when upgrading to DNN 7.
Did you unblock downloaded upgrade package in File Properties, prior to unzipping the files contained?
I suggest restoring latest backup from before the upgrade (database and files) and retry.

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold
