Find out how often the recycling is happening. Ask them if they can turn off the 'rapid fail protection' feature of the app pool. This will cause the app pool to stay alive but won't solve the source of the problem. Check DNN's log for abnormal activity and exceptions.

This is a hard problem to troubleshoot. The way I would approach this is by creating a similar DNN setup on a machine I fully control. Find out which DNN pages get the most traffic. Find out which modules are being used on these pages and enable load test the web server and hit those pages and monitor the memory usage of the particular w3wp service. Enable/disable each module. Simulate the load test like the actual site.

If your forum is your most active part of DNN and you have 5 users at a time, this doesn't sound like a heavy site. Note that 5 users doesn't mean they are active at the same time. For example a user could have left 5 minutes ago and the forum module still thinks they are active. It depends how the forum considers a user an active user.

Thank you for the advises.

The site is using activeforums.org forum module. There is only 80 registered users and only 8 users maximum online at a time. This is a forum for our well-known people and friends to sharing the knowledge and the other most important stuff.

They increased the APP Pool Memory for 900MB as per my request. It worked well. But again the site started to fail continuously. This is a big issue now. I have to restart the app pool manually all the time.

Do you think this AF (activeforums.org) module is giving this issue?

Apart from this, I am using DNN UsersOnline module and some HTML modules with and an SQL module only. Old Gambosoft Script injecting module in an inner page. There is only 4 pages in the whole site.

I want to know why the site is going offline like this and which module is giving this issue. Is there any simple method to find this?

Moving to another server would be a good solution? I am on Arvixe and I am using them for years now. But I am not happy with their support service or about the servers from about a year now.

Can anybody recommend me a good server for DNN hosting for a reasonable rate. I need some enough space too. Not much. But better to have a good space as well. I really appreciate if you can advise me for the website issue and also for the idea about a new hosting server.

Thank You!

It's no good guessing. You need to isolate the site in a controlled environment.

Take out all the things you suspect. Measure the base memory usage of the site. Add things back in, one at a time, and measure what happens.

Tony's advice is good.

Best wishes,
