Thanks. What are the correct permissions for each of the folders? That way I'll just fix them up properly and then let you know.

you need to grant modify permission to the IIS website folders and all its content.

Set to     full control already, but I'l see what I can do when modify is granted instead.

full permission include modify. if you still encounter issues, grant read permission to IUsers role.

    I ensured that all folders inherited the permissions from the top directory, so let's see if it fixed it. the connection string is already in there correctly. I also set the custom error mode attribute to off, so I'll be able to see more details, hopefully.
