Yes,

I went into the skins directory and verified the contents of the ascx had changed after skin upload. The SOLPARTMENU tag contents follow:

id=dnnSOLPARTMENU separatorcssclass="MainMenu_SeparatorClass" Runat="server"

Dear brightsource

Have you set useskinpatharrowimages="true"?

No, it is set at the default. Should I create arrow images and include them in my skin in order for the separator to work?

Dear brightsource

That you can...
But you can also upload the separator... (RootMenuItemMiddleSeparator = RtMnItMiSprt.gif)

  <Token>[SOLPARTMENU]</Token>
  <Settings>
    <Setting>

      <Value></Value>
    </Setting>
  </Settings>

Uploading an image and setting it as the separator worked great!

Thank you so much for you help and your patience.
