Hello, On 7.4 is it possible to set up for Windows Login without requiring domain name entry i.e 'username' instead of 'domain\username'? I've seen some posts about it but all refer to older versions and I'm hoping there is a simple solution now.
Each 'Username' in Users has the domain included in the entry. Removing this does not allow the user to match to AD even though PortalSettings has 'AD_DefaultDomain' set to the correct domain.
Thanks!

Sorry to bump this but I'm sitting on a live bug. No simple solution to logging in to single domain without specifying domain name each time?
Thanks

"AD-Pro Authentication v3" offers that function. Below is a link where you can obtain 14 days trial:

Ha! Thanks but that's not quite what I had in mind. We are producing DNN solutions for multiple clients so that would be a very expensive solution to (what seems to me) a simple problem. Looks like I'll have to roll my own then... sigh.

If you have a default domain set your users shouldn't need to use Domain\ or @domain when they're logging in. Their accounts are still registered in the Domain\username format to prevent in errors in a mixed mode type setup.
