Hello,

I'm having an issue where my 'Host' section is retaining a Skin from one of my portals. Let me explain in more depth:

All the portals are set to use their assigned skins while logged onto their website and carry over to the 'Admin' and 'Host' areas, too. The behavior that I'm experiencing is that the 'Admin' page is retaining its assigned skin (relative to the portal), but when I navigate to the 'Host' section, it shows a skin that is NOT relative to the portal. The 'Host' URL is also pointing to the correct locations at all times, http://sitename.com/Host/PortalId/{PID}, but the skin just doesn't show up correctly.

I confirmed that the 'Host' settings uses the default DNN skin and even checked the page appearance for the 'Host' page to 'None Specified'.

If you need additional information, please let me know. I'm running DNN Evoq Content 8.5.

Thank you.

If anyone encounters the same problem, I've resolved my own issue. Here's the fix:

1. Log onto the root website (the website that has a PortalID=0) with SuperUser access
2. Navigate to 'Host Settings'
3. Click 'Edit page' > select 'Page Appearance'
4. Set the 'Page Theme' and 'Page Container' to a value other than what's initially there (even if it says 'None specified' - mine was initially like this)
5. Click 'Update Page'
6. Click 'Edit page' > select 'Page Appearance' again
7. Set the 'Page Theme' and 'Page Container' back to 'None specified'
8. Click 'Update Page'

This should have remedied the issue.
