I am having the same issue with mine, upgraded from 9.0.1 to 9.1.1 and the personabar is throwing 404. I wish we had an option to switch to the old control bar.

After discovering an upgrade path that worked on my cloned dev site, I tried to update 7.4 -> 9.1 on my live site and have a broken persona bar. It does not show the admin submenus, is stuck in edit mode and none of the buttons work.

I've been on DNN for 10 years, and sadly it's a dying platform due to reliance on WebForms. But moving all my code to MVC is a daunting prospect. I've decided to do it when Orchard 2.0 releases, but it will be a huge amount of work.

Nothing against DNN, really. I can see why they can't move on. I have nothing but gratitude for the knowledgeable community that has helped me for years. But they're dwindling, fast.

if you Encounter issues with persona bar, it might help to clear local browser Cache.
