Hi.

So I have an instance that we have just renewed our licence on for the next 2 years.

This instance has been around for about 2-3 years and has undergone many an upgrade in that time meaning that the site has 'issues' and is a little buggy.

However as we have bought this instance I would like to do a complete refresh and install the site on a brand new 9.1 instance.

I understand I can't do a direct export from V8.x and install to V9.x, can I first confirm that is correct.

If that is not possible most of the site would be easy to rebuild (say a week for 2 of us to build and check over).

One big issue I have though is that the users and roles on the existing site need to be carried over and I only see a very old import/export module that can do that without paying for some third party module which the project managers won't sign off on as they have already spent a small fortune on 4 DNN licences.

Can anybody point me to a way I can do an export of the users from V8 to V9 please that won't involve having to pay more for a licence.

Jacqui.
