I'm not a developer by any means, but I've tried to figure out when time permits and havne't gotten very far. It's got to be a settings value someplace and I'm going to assume with caching since it's all over the error message. All I've been able to do is jump on the JIRA defect. Short of putting on the symbol package(s) and trying to figure out what line of code is causing the issue I havne't been able to do any other 9.2 testing.

I've still yet to come up with a solve for this. The site that I have running 9.2 is hosted on Azure

The error message says "Cache"...… stupid question but have you tried wiping your browser cache?

I've done at least a half dozen test installs going from 8.0.3 to 9.2 and no problems logging in with any account (host, superuser, dnn user, etc)

Glad I'm not the only. I'm test/dev and Production is hosted on PowerDNN/Managed.com. I do have a local instance (dnndev.me) that I was able to upgrade to 9.2 without issue. It started as a 9.0 though. It's really just a local copy is use to quickly compare out of box configuraiton settings and I was working on a skin in it. It doens't have any 3rd party modules or anything so not a true comparsion.

I have not tried deleting browser cache and have since resotred my test/dev site back to 9.1. I believe though the cache error is related to ASP.net caching of pages and modules. Not so much browser cache, of course I could be wrong. My thought is something is broke in the FileBasedCaching providor and/or it's reading a value from DB it doesn't like. Yes, I did cycle application cache etc.
