Files other than the one/s uploaded by a user are being attached to a message when the users attaches a file. Looks like multiple user files are getting uploaded into the same folder. This looks like a concurrent posting issue.

Do I remember a similar issue with Gallery from a post some months ago?

Anyone else seeing this? I've disabled file uploading for the present but need to have it working.

Since source is available, anything can be fixed by the community.  I have hesitated spending much time on the forums because attachment need to be handled via the DNN File Manager so I hate to waste much time fixing something that is getting yanked.  Perhaps I will just make use the File Manager for next release along w/ other bug fixes.

I'd sure love to have this feature working, too.  I was excited to see the Forum module released, and I quickly got several discussions set up and put into production.  I regret that I didn't test and catch this bug before I turned the module loose on my servers, because attachments are a critical part in my particular case.

I don't have the experience to modify the code, but if anyone's resolved this issue and is willing to share, I'd be most appreciative!!  I know it will be resolved in future versions, but I could really use a short-term solution.

I would really like this problem fixed also. You can edit it editing the values in the database fields but that way is tricky and i don't want to stuff up the database.
