That information is not correct. MyGeneration is absolutely free. EntitySpaces is not however, you may find our pricing here.
We already have linq support in EntitySpaces, see this blog post.

LINQ was going to be my next question.  Looks like a very powerful tool, I think I may just get myself a copy of EntitySpaces.  ;)

Not sure if you saw this or not, but we even have templates that will generate entire UI's to administer databases, which can then be dropped in a module we made for use in any DNN portal running under .NET 2.0. No coding required;)

Thanks again folks, again most all seem overly complex for the task at hand.  I guess I will hand code things for now and create my own code generation routine for a more simplified DAL.
