$20 reward for anyone who can get my site up again.
(sorry to be so cheap, but this is a non-profit group of Cub Scouts your dealing with)

See my previous thread here for details on the problem:

Thank you!

1) Can you post the link here so I an access the site to see what it is doing?

2) Can you clear the SiteLogs table for the portal having the problem directly accessing the database, access the site, and then access the DB again and post any entries here.

3) Try adding new alias to the alias table for the site.  Then in your host files create an entry for the alias you create to point to the correct IP.  Pose the results of this test here.

4) See if WHFL can let get you the IIS logs for the site.  This will allow you to see if the call to the site is even getting to the IIS server.  Since it also happend locally you could also check you local IIS Logs.

5) Check the event logs on your local machine to see if there is any indication in them what is going on.

Ian,

The behavior you have described suggests there is a redirection loop. In other words, code is being called that redirects the request to a page, which in turn redirects back to the same page. The IIS configuration appears to be OK, because http://cubscoutpack142.org/images/action.gif works fine.

You said the problem started when you added a portal. Was this a child portal? What happens if you delete the new portal? Does the problem portal start working again?

Nik

No change.

Here's what I get locally:

16:55:14 127.0.0.1 GET /pagerror.gif 404
16:55:14 127.0.0.1 GET /favicon.ico 304
16:55:20 127.0.0.1 GET /default.aspx 200
16:55:26 127.0.0.1 GET /default.aspx 302

5) Check the event logs on your local machine to see if there is any indication in them what is going on.
Nothing.

Thanks!

Ian

The new portal was a new root portal (mc2rocketry.com).  I deleted the new portal locally and there was no change.

Thanks!
