I don't know that this is a core issue. It used to be a core issue but now I think it's some repository specific code that is overflowing because the errors with the filemanager have gone away.

Yes, it was a core team issue, and it has been fixed in the core, however because the fix was to change the signature of the function that determines the amount of space used to return a different data type, they couldn't just change the function, that would have broken every module out there that used it. So instead a new core function was written and the core file manager uses the new function.

So, the current build of the Repository still uses the old function, and the next release will use the new function. Sorry about the inconvenience, if this is absolutely a showstopper for you , send me a private email.
