Hi, Earlier I've posted with an odd download problem in DNN3, so we've now upgraded to 4 for our corp Intranet, and almost directly ran into a problem. The site is larger then 2GB (which DNN 4 now supports), downloading by postback on a IIS site running compression still seems to give the odd problem, but without compression on dynamic pages it works, but I'm getting a 'A critical error has occurred. Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow.' error. So, is there still a 32 bit issue in the latest released repository code ?

From what I can remember from the last time this was looked at it was a DNN problem. I'll have to hunt for the thread to see exactly what was looked at. Have you verified that you can download the file from File Manager without a problem?

As far as I've found the Repository really doesn't like compression. As to the whys or hows I'm not sure.

The 2 gig site limit was fixed in 3.2 or 3.3 and it was a core issue.

Well, i've been going through our site a bit, checking up on the filemanager again, if upload works, and what the total size is. At the moment the file manager is uploading without problems (on a 4GB site), though I am getting something weird, and that is that is shows entries of files that are no longer on the disk, even after a forced synchronistation, but do you think this issue is related ?

A little update. Since i found the filemanager 'out-of-synch' issue too much of a worry not to look at, I found that after emptying the tables files and folders (except for the protected files) and resynching the database, I at least got rid of the non-exsisting files in the filemanager (all with the following attributes: Date: 1/1/1601 1:00:00 AM attributes:ARHS). After trying the repository again, it didn't return the overflows anymore after an upload. So yes, you guys were right again, this was a filemanager issue (at least, that's what it looks like right now)

Should anything more come up, i'll post it in here for futere reference, if not, this was the full solution.
