Mmmm...we are starting to see this same error ("arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow").  In the past month the Repository module will sometimes not allow appropriate users to perform edits on Repository items.

We're running DNN 4.0.2 with Repository 3.01.08 so I'll have a look at our DB tables then update to the current 3.01.10 and go from there.  We've done no DNN version upgrades or migrations -- the biggest change has been to add some additional portals.

For what it's worth, I just wanted to have it noted that this same error message appeared for someone else.  I'll post more about our particular issue/solution if I'm able to divine more.

One more update on this: do not delete those tables and fill them in again. All the file and folder keys are lost that way, and it prerry much messes up DNN in a major way. Time to go to the DNN core forum and find out why my synchronization is not keeping track of files deleted from the disk directly.

Ok, I've verified that our 4.0.2 site's problem is definitely the 2GB limit issue.  The same issue was easily replicated on a 4.0.3 installation.  A 4.3.4 installation had no issues so 4.3.5 is probably ok as well.

ISSUE (DNN 4.0.x sites):  Once a portal hits the 2GB file storage mark issues appear in (at the least):

(1) Repository module (v3.01.10) won't allow uploads but gives "Arithmetic Overflow" error (a.k.a. "Int32" error).

(2) File Manager cannot upload files for that portal.

(3) The "image browser" function of the Free Text Box (used in Text/HTML module and elsewhere) can no longer see most files, though it does still navigate folders.

I'll post specifics on our fix if we go that route.  We may simply avoid the issue by upgrading to 4.3.5 since we would eventually upgrade anyway.

Hi, Earlier I've posted with an odd download problem in DNN3, so we've now upgraded to 4 for our corp Intranet, and almost directly ran into a problem. The site is larger then 2GB (which DNN 4 now supports), downloading by postback on a IIS site running compression still seems to give the odd problem, but without compression on dynamic pages it works, but I'm getting a 'A critical error has occurred. Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow.' error. So, is there still a 32 bit issue in the latest released repository code ?

i'm seeing some problems that seem outside of even this, as i'm running 4.3.4.  i think the site is right around 2gb at this point, but in site settings i have disk space set to 0 (which should be unlimited).  also, note that i can upload files fine through the file manager, this exception happens only when i try uploading through a module such as repository (or even ventrian's simple gallery).  here's the basic info:

dnn 4.3.4

HELP?!

I have the exact same problem. The filemanager works fine. Hopefully this fix will be soon as the module is unusable and I have over 100 files that would be quite a burden to move to another module.
