What's up all,
I am creating a module in which there is no need for the "Add/Edit Content" in the Module Action Menu (it is just for displaying info).  How do I remove/hide the first action ("Edit Content") from the list?  I have the information about adding a new menu item to the list but not to remove one.

Thanks very much in advance!

All you need to do is remove the iActionable Interface.  At the top of the codebehind, remove the Implements declaration.

Implements Entities.Modules.IActionable

Then, in your Optional Interfaces, remove the ModuleActions() property.

Public ReadOnly Property ModuleActions() As Entities.Modules.Actions.ModuleActionCollection Implements Entities.Modules.IActionable.ModuleActions
Get
Dim Actions As New Entities.Modules.Actions.ModuleActionCollection
Actions.Add(GetNextActionID, Localization.GetString(Entities.Modules.Actions.ModuleActionType.AddContent, LocalResourceFile), Entities.Modules.Actions.ModuleActionType.AddContent, "", "", EditUrl(), False, DotNetNuke.Security.SecurityAccessLevel.Edit, True, False)
Return Actions
End Get
End Property

Thanks!  It just seemed to be to easy just to do that

Ok, you just confirmed my thoughts.

Thanks again for the reply!

Just as an FYI.

You can't do exactly what you mentioned or you will get a compiler error.

What I did was to comment out the "Action.Add" line and then it compiles ok.

I am coding in C#, so it might be different for VB.NET and you get actually remove the property, but it wouldn't compile for me that way.

Thanks again, though!
