Hi, I apologize for my ignorance...

I just set up hosting and a domain with GoDaddy, and they install DNN as a content management service.  I have been playing around with it, trying to figure things out, without much luck in certain areas.  I've also not gleaned much info from the documentation.

Here's my first question: I am editing pages through a web interface at mysite.com/DNN/  .  How do I make it so that the site is "published" at mysite.com? I tried setting up a portal alias, but this doesn't seem to do much, and probably reflects a fundamental misunderstanding on my part of how the system works.

My second question (maybe related to the first) is, when I am "publishing" the site, how do I get rid of the navigation/search/date/register/login stuff at the top of the page?
