We are still experiencing this exact problem with the Links Module (I know but it seemed appropriate here as you are dealing with it) I did the 0 cache time and I though it was fine. Now I am getting complaints from people all over that it is still a problem. a couple "complainers" were smart enough to try it in firefox IE6 and netscape and claims that the action is identical in every case for them. I will throw this in the links module forum also.

Stock install from 4.3.5. I know im in the wrong forum but this is the only posting anywhere that was even colse so i was hoping there had been more discovered.
