In my last post, I said I got an error in trying to log in to ttuckertech.com.

The error is: "A critical error has occurred. Maximum request length exceeded".

I found a VM that was still logged in to PAWSAtlanta.org as Admin. Attempting to do any updates at all results in the above error.

Hmm, there is something really wrong here. If you submit anything, it doesn't even display an error message (like stated above).

At first, I thought, maybe it's something skin related, so I loaded the default skin, you can do it like this:-

http://www.pawsatlanta.org/default.aspx?ctl=login&SkinSrc=[G]%5cskins%5cdnn-blue%5chorizontal+menu+-+fixed+width

But, this didn't display an error message at all either.

I've had a similar problem a long time ago due to postbacks no longer worker at all on the server. So i'm wondering if there have been any changes to the server in that period, have you got your host involved? Who is it? The issue I had before was a bad JS file set in aspnet_client. If you hit the search button, this does not also postback correctly, so I'm thinking postbacks don't work on your site at all.

On another note, you should save the images on your homepage to a reduced size, some are over 400kb!

I have the exact same problem, I have 2 sites on the host one is working fine the other has the login redirect problem. The problem did happen after uploading a new skin however it is working fine on the default site. Interestingly if I login as host and change the skin for the site with a problem it does not pick it up and still has the original skin set (i.e. its never changed )

There's only one other person besides myself who can access the server. He did the 400K pics (I swear!). He says the last time he was in, he did an update and everything was fine.

If something else happened on the server, the host (websecurestores.com) is not owning up to it.

I'm at the point of wiping & rebuilding. I don't know what else to try. Thanks.

Probably a few things to check, make sure you skin is valid, and doesn't have a form or html tags inside the skin, as these are added by DNN. The other about your skin not being set, make sure it's not set at Admin/Page level.
