Hi ,

Does anyone wish to comment on the two Wiki offerings. I have had the core Wiki module installed for several months but posts on the core Wiki forum dont appear to get very far and there is no mention of any updates or bug fixes. The Ktomic's Wiki is now available, appears to be quite good and hosts DNNwiki.net . I have not done a comparison at a function level, but given the core Wiki is not a very active project am considering converting. The grass is always greener of course,  however I I don't want to change just for the sake of it, but will need to decide very soon before the Wiki database gets too big and I can't risk staying with a module that will not have a future. Having said that , we would stay with the core Wiki but for the A critical error has occurred. Could not find last version of the page 1, messages and the fact that we still cannnot print.

Cheers

Steve

We have been using the Ktomic's WIKI for at least 12 months and have found it stable.  Any queries have been answered quickly.

The CORE Wiki project is once again rolling.

We've fixed some of the known issues. we'll be working on some more over the next month or two trying to get out a new release before the end of the year, if not much sooner.

The core wiki project is still in beta...
KTomics wwwiki works beautifully and is now free/open source (including the vb. source !)

The choice was clear for me.

We attempted to use the Core Wiki, but like everyone else has found, it's simply too "beta". We didn't see it progress, so we also now use Ktomics WWWiki module. It's easy to install use, and most important.. it simply works.

You can see our use of WWWiki here.
