I just did my 4th DNN upgrade from 3.2.2 to 3.3.5 and this one seems to be a problem. I just get Runtime error and

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
    <system.web>
        <customErrors mode="Off"/>
    </system.web>
</configuration>

I have set the customErrors to Off from RemoteOnly and still I cannot see the error. Is this a cache issue? I remember something before about case sensitivity in the web.config, which is an XML file. How should off be from a case perspective?

This is pretty urgent. Thanks for any help you can provide.

OK, I solved my self-induced problem. I had cut n pasted a configuration setting for my swirlchat on the wrong side of the tag in the web.config.

But I am still concerned as to why I cannot see the errors in detail when I set customErrors="Off". Any ideas on this. I see people post this issue every now and then, but no answers can be found.
