i completed an upgrade from dnn 3.2.0 to 3.3.5 with no significant issues.

but all modules that requre Send mail capability (like feedback, newsletter etc)

in the log I'm getting the following error

Can anyone advice how to overcome this issue

Finally i succeeded to overcome this issue
by preforming the following actions:
  1. log in with host permissions
    changed the SMTP definitions from basic authentication to anonymous (save)
    and back to basic authentication (my SMTP server require basic authentication).
  2. cleared server cache
