Hello DNN community,

I was wondering if anyone knows how to chnage the default location of the link . It's now "http://" but I would like to change it to an internal directory, file:///

I would appriciate if any help you can provide.

thanks

What you are trying to do is possible, but not in the way you are wanting to do it.

To accomplish your goal, you need to upload the file with the file manager and set the proper permissions for it so that only roles that you want can download it. Next you need to create the link, selecting the type of File. You can then select the file and complete the rest of the form. This will allow you to download a file.
