I just can't believe that I am the only one who needs such functionailty. It's so obvious. So, perhaps, I'm just overlooking something. I'm looking for an email notification sent to the file owner (and, optionaly, to the site admin) when someone downloads the file. Is there such thing? Please advise...

Hey aludmilin,

This setting exists in the control panel "site tab" scroll down to advanced tab and "Security Settings" and click "verified". Now registration will require an email verification.

Thanks Devin, but I think you misunderstood the question. it is about REPOSITORY module and downloads, not about verified registration.

This is exactly what im after too, basicly i need the repository to have the ability to email notifications or reminders.

that`d make this module the ideal.

Thanks, friend. That proves that I've not completely lost my mind :-)  Because that looked so much obvious that I wondered that I must be missing something or had gone nuts :-)

However, it looks like the Repository project is dead for there's been no updates for the last 6 months or so. I don't have time to figure it out and write that functionaility by myself; and I'm simply not so proficient in DNN applications. So if you find a third party module that has that kind of functinaility please let me know.
