HI, I am am having thi same problem and cannot seem to fix it. I cannot follow which module settings you are talking about could you clarify which module settings? I have set the entire site not to cache but still no luck. Appreciate your feedback.

This has nothing to do with edit permissions. The problem is on module caching: when a module is cached it is not "recreated" as normal modules. Instead the final html is saved/retrieved directly.

If your module should present different output depending on the active language then you cannot use caching.

Do you know if I have to set cache to 0 if I use Apollo localisation module ?? I usually use 172800, but I have not implement the localisation on the production site yet... I am just testing on the dev site, and did not play with cache.

My ML modules should work fine with caching, as luck would have it, DNN uses a locale when it creates a cache key, so different language versions in the same module will be cached properly

Hi,

I have read this thread and a couple others concerning this problem. I was able to get my module to work by setting caching to 0. I also checked the issue ID DNNP-4451. The resolution indicates “Won’t Fix”. I am not sure I understand what this means. Will this require that with Localization via an ascx.resx file caching will always have to be disabled?

other than what is implicated by Vicenç, AFAIK a locale identifier is in fact used when caching modules, even when there is an issue, the origins and nature are not nature are not known. That does not mean it doesnt have our attention.. it just means we dont know the cause of the issues described in this thread.
