as long as the issue exist, I recomment either to use subdomains instead of subportals or use a different HTML editor.

you need to add the subportal to your web site configuration in IIS (if you don't use a catch all) and add the subdomain as alias to the appropriate portal, e.g. instead of www.domain.com/portal1 you will use portal1.domain.com
