I just got this email from the person I setup as the Host User.

"Unfortunately, when I was updating the host information eg: telephone number etc. using the registration/update form, I lost the ability to log in as host.
The hosting company says there is nothing they can do about the problem so I don't know what to tell you."

Obviously she changed the name or the password of the Host account and now we can no longer get in..!!!!

Something simple you can do, if you know another user and password, i.e. the admin account. You can update your host record in the aspnet_Membership by copying the Password and PasswordSalt from the admin account into your host account.

You can then log into your host account using your admin password.

That should work - although you will need to get access to the database via MS SQL Server Management Studio (or something else) or get the webadmin to do this for you.

Cheers

Joe.

I tried that, but there's no way for me to identify which account is the Host Account..?

You're right.  That is a  "HUGE, MAJOR PROBLEM"

But not one that can be solved without a lot of guessing.  And since you can't login as Host, I guess I better not sugest looking in the Log Viewer.

Try clearing cookies, and going back to check what you changed in the DB.
