I've downloaded the Red Leaf skin so I can try to lay out my DNN site using style sheets instead of tables, but I don't know where to begin.  Can someone either give me a link to a tutorial that explains what is what or give me an overview of what the index.html, skin.xml, and index.aspx pages control.

I've been  messing with each to see what they do, but its been a little ineffective way to learn!

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

I created the Red Leaf Skin as a free download from DNN Creative Magazine, if you need help with it then you can ask questions in the DNN Creative forum.

I have created a series of skinning tutorials in CSS, which demonstrate how to create the Red Leaf skin and from this you should be able to create your own CSS skins, you can have a look at some of the tutorials here:
How to create a pure CSS skin
How to create CSS containers
- These tutorials however are only available to subscribers.

Hope this helps, thanks,

Lee
