I found this link, to download the media module.

http://www.dotnetnuke.com/DotNetNukeProjects/ModuleMedia/tabid/846/Default.aspx

However when I go there, and click On Media_03.02.02 Install.zip, my Internet temp folder opens with some files. I copied them and uploaded them. When I add the Media Module to my page, I can't upload any mp3's. I added mp3 to the upload list in Host Settings. The first one I'm trying to upload is 30mb. I selec the file and than hit upload file. DNN sits for about 1 minute and than says, "Page can't be displayed." Is there a differant module I should be using? I have some teaching lessons (mp3's) I need to put on the site. I want users to be able to listen on-line or download the mp3's. Which ever they prefer. How do I get them on there? The media module I am looking at is very basic, and I don't know if I have the correct one.

Thanks

I take it that you've installed the pa for the module.  If not here are the instructions:

1. Login as Host : go to Host - Module Definitions

2. From the dropdown menu select - Upload new module

3. Browse for the zip file - click Add

4. Click Upload New File

I'm kinda new to this. What is the "pa" for the module you mentioned? I uploaded the files it download to my internet temp file, which were 10 files. The media module doesn't have many option at all. Mainly just upload a file and a few other minor options. I'm not sure if I have the right media module or even all the correct files. DNN is going to a "Page Can't Be Found," before the 30 meg mp3 file is uploaded.

You need to register the pa (public assembly) of the module on your portal.  Then you will see it in the admin menu of a page and be able to add the module to the page for use.

1. Login as Host : go to Host - Module Definitions

2. From the dropdown menu select - Upload new module

3. Browse for the zip file - click Add

4. Click Upload New File

The application will go through an install process, and display each step of the upload process, at the end of which will be "succeeded"

30 MB exceeds the default buffer size.  Search for this string in your web.config: maxRequestLength="8192".  You will need to make the value at least 1024 X 30 = 30720 .

Does that help?
