I would like to create a new table with some fields that will occur multiple times per userID (information for each ride will be saved for each rider).  Of course, no one knows the userID for someone, so I need to query to DNN4_Users table by name and display a list of FirstName, LastName and userID that matched the partial search (like just last name).  Then, be able to use that information to add a row into a UDT with ride fields.

So, basically i want to get some SQL search selection data from the user, display the results and allow the this data to be used to add new rows to a UDT.

The next item would be to be able to list all the rows for a given user.

How would something like this be accomplished?

Thanks!

If you want to use UDT, you need to extend it to provide the ability of a user search and display of user fields - but IMO it would be easier to create a custom module, that provides this functionality.
