Hi Guys,

I have been looking around for information on the best forum to use with DNN. In the past I have used phpbb but obviously this will not work hand in hand with DNN.

Could someone shed some light on what I should use or any experiance, pro's, con's etc with DNN forums.

It really depends on what you want.  If you want the source code and you are price conscious then the core forums are probably the way to go. The core forums are also getting ready for another major release.  However, if you need more advanced features, and don't mind paying for them, then ActiveForums certainly is a good choice.  The base ActiveForums product is reasonably priced and the source version price is not too bad either.   No matter which one you choose, I think you will find that both options can handle most users needs.

Thanks for your reply. I am not worried too much about the costs incurred but I am looking for a solution that will be supported long term and can handle over 300 concurrent users.

The free Presstopia forum module IMO is better than the core forum module.
