Hello again,

I posted this to the main forum earlier because the projects forums were down. I thought I'd post it in here again seeing as this is the proper place for it. I'll update both posts if a fix is found.

I'm running the blog on DNN4 with all the right fixes applied.. the module upload, file permissions and search fixes.

The DNN native search does not return any results from the blog. The search does work however because it returns results from other modules such as the Text/HTML one.

The Blog's own search does work fine and returns the expected results.

Something in DNN4 has stopped the native search from indexing blog material... cache clearing and re-indexing done of course.

Any ideas?

Best regards,
Rob

Rob,

the blog module is developed under and for DNN 3.X.

I have never seen DNN 4 before the release was public, so I could not take care of any DNN 4.X specific problems.

For this reason, I can not support any DNN 4.X specific problems at this time.

Sorry for that

HP

Thanks for the fast response.

And bingo... my site comes to a grinding halt.. heheh.

hmm... I'll have to think about what to do. If the blog search works fine under DNN3.2 then I could install that and work up from there when new versions are released. I'm a little concerned with all the issues that DNN4 has been bringing up on a daily basis anyway, so that might be the best thing to do.

I'll let you know how I get on with 3.2

Rob
