Hi,

I'm trying to find some information on creating page templates.  Can you please provide some links or give me hint how you created the page template.  Any help you can give is very much appreciated.

Jerry

log in as host, go to portals, select your portal and create a template from it. open the created template file with a XML or text editor and delete all other page entries. Save the modified file as yourname.page.template in the /portals/_default/template folder.

THANK-YOU!

Thanks for the quick reply.  Creating templates like this, will it remember the modules I have on the page and will the page remember the content?  Or do I have to export the content when I create the template.

Thanks for helping me!

Jerry

creating a template of a portal exports all pages with the modules added. The modules are exported with their content, if the developer added support for the iPortable interface. Check the module definitions page to see, if your module supports import/export.
