Hello All,

We are using a GoDaddy hosting account and use their ValueApplication installation platform to install and manage DNN for our site. There was an update for 5.6.2 and we applied it.

After the upgrade was complete, we now get the following error when going to our site:
Could not load file or assembly 'Telerik.Web.UI' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040)

Our site has been working great until the upgrade.  We rely on the site for our business and are dead in the water.

We've attempted a Roll-back and reinstalled the patch again.  We also created a backup of our database.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Mike

did you install the out-of-band telerik release -if so please read http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Blogs/EntryId/3107/Before-upgrading-to-5-6-3-read-this.aspx . If not, then you're experiencing an issue that affects some users (we believe we've tracking it down to a timing release issue where the .net framework is still unloading the dll when we try to update it - we added code in 6.0 AFAIK to detect these failures and retry, so hopefully that version will make this issue a thing of the past). If you retry and see the same issue, please download the upgrade version and go to install/module and unzip the telerik zip file and move a copy of the dll into your BIN folder.
