I just realized that after upgrading to 4.4.0 links that reference mysite/default.aspx?Tabname=page name are no longer working, it just redirects to the homepage of the portal. Was this feature removed or do I need to add configure this somewhere?

Hello, i had a similar issue and i had to check the virtual directory alias in the url. and i saw that it disappeared, you may  need to check your url :)

Hmm, do you mean virtual directory in IIS? or under host - portal settings?

It's very odd as I have two seperate dnn installations on different servers that both don't allow the tabname redirect after upgrading to 4.4.0. Perhaps I will upgrade to 4.4.1 and see if this corrects itself.

Yup an upgrade to 4.4.1 fixed it - for me, anyway. Also important to note that tabname is case sensitive - localhost/default.aspx?tabname=Legal is not equal to localhost/default.aspx?tabname=legal.
