I have a DNN installation with many portals. But I want to move one portal to other DNN Installation. For example. I want to move my portal from A hosting provider to B hosting provider. I have only the administrator permission, not the host permission.

How can I do this?  How to backup my portal and move to another host to restore it?

Could anybody help me?

this is not possible. You need at least the option to export your portal as template - this requires host access.

When you set the portal to be used as template for transfering, does it only capture the pages and modules - or does it assume the content and configuration as well?

Thank you!

it should contain content and configuration as well - depending on the support of iPortable import by the modules itselves.
