My DNN 4.4.0 instance has 3 root portals all working fine, and today when I went to create a 4th root portal, that portal was correctly created but the base dnn image files (osi.gif, sourcegear.gif, etc) are not showing up, and they were not copied to the new portal folder.

The skins and the containers sub-folders are also missing.

After installing the 3rd portal I installed FckHtmlEditorProvider_01.00.07 and Inventua Flash Player 3.1.3 but I doubt this created the problem because I have experienced similar problems in the past with DNN Starter Kit on Visual Web Developer (images not showing after creating a portal).

Can anyone help?

I was able to solve my problem by:

-Turning off all caching and compression options
-Upgrading do DNN 4.1.1

After upgrading I was able to correctly create a new portal.
