I'm not sure how this post skipped the attention of our resident tutor in the subject, AdefWebServer.  He's put together some nice tutorials for those on the learning curve.  Check this link http://www.adefwebserver.com/DotNetNukeHELP/DNN_Module4/.  One thing is the StartKit follows a method that uses a slightly different tool for development, not exactly VS2005.  I've not used the StarterKit with the other freebie tools, but AdefServer talks about the why's and how to setup a development environment for developers.

You're not alone, and sometimes posts get covered quickly, so don't lose hope.  Folks will help as time permits, so go ahead and 'bump' but don't 'bump and run', because timing is everything in the forums.  We'll keep an eye out for you.
