I recently purchased VS2005. I am excited to start programming. Currently I use a lot of 3rd party purchased software-modules, but I wan't to start building my own modules that are more custom to what I need. I am currently teaching myself VB2005 in VS - but I have 4 years in PHP. I thought I could start learning, and playing with the starter kit. Which leads me to:

1) I ran the Starter Kit isntall for 4.4, and everything went great. I then ran VS2005, opened a new project, found under "my templates" the "DotNetNuke Compiled Module" clicked on that, the recieved this error: "This Project Type is not supported by this installation". Any thoughts?

2) Is there a website, or documentation that helps newbies get on their way with VS2005 and DNN?

Thanks a million.

Gabe

I guess we are the only one with these issues. I guess I will wait till they have newer releases, that might fix this issue.
