I want to install DNN on a virtual dedicated box. however, I was informed that some tasks to setup the server woudl need to be done by the hosting service. Most dedicated services do not do anything put setup the server for basic use. Some will do extra tasks for an extra fee. What do you need to ask the hosting service to do? Is there a link to these requirements?

Thanks

As long as you have a database setup, the only real server settings are to create and configure the virtual directory and to provide the ASP.NET worker process access to your application folder.

The installation is all web browser based.
